Just finished a GC last weekend and pictures in
winterization 2004 It sound pretty good and has more than enough power for my SC-4. Will do some comparison to A-X later. Few questions: 1. I have several Rifa 22000uf caps at hands, will it make any improvement if I add them in PSU ? 2. whare should I add them ? add them in parallel with 1500uf cap or 4.7uf cap ? Thanks! |

You really need to see this thread if you want a psu with those big caps. I think that CarlosFM did a nice job on that! The final schematic is bit into the thread! Happy building Steen. |

Big caps were added with 0.1uf bypass. Confirmed that it is not in the same league with A-X, especially large-scaled music but good for listening while working. |
