Default Soft Start your LM3886

the circuit below appears in the LM4780 PDF, but is not in the LM3886 descriptor -- pick the RC time constant you want from R1 and C1 to slow the turn on for the LM3886. The current to pin 8 must be greater than or equal to 0.5 ma. Multiple LM3886's can be controlled this way, just multiply the current for each device and pick the resistor combo accordingly.

Default soft start your LM3886

I'm not sure but I think it is on the AN-1192 parts list. under (parts not on schematics). It has two resistor in mute circuit instead of one

The cap is turned wrong.

I use the simpliest possible solution, 33 kohms + 100 uF = nice and smooth start-up.

Adding a diode as shown will discharge the Cap immediately,in switch OFF.
Muting the amp @ switch OFF. should be used if higher values of capacitor is used for longer delay...
