If I need a split power supply is it possible to use 2 DC wall adapters wired in series? Would that damage the caps inside them? If i need something permanant I'll do something better I just need something to test it.

Be careful. Sometimes the negative is connected to earth. This means that one of the DC adapters would be shorted if you connect them in series.
Check with a meter first. |
