Stereo setup

I have built 2 channels of lm3886 based amp separately. Now I want to wire them in stereo mode.

The more I read the forum the more I am getting confused.

At present I am using a mono connector to take the output from line out of the PC.I have connected the shield of all the wire to signal ground of both the amps and the other wire to i/p of both the amps.I am hearing some music but I dont know if this is an optimum setup and also if this is stereo setup. I am using same transformer and rectifier for both the amps.

I am reading some stuff about this unbalanced and balanced audio inputs so now I am getting confused if my set up is right??

How to differenciate between stereo and mono ?
Do I need to use a stereo jack instead of a mono jack to take the output from line out?

you ned to get stereo plug cable into sound card with 2 rca out
on other end of cable.

Thanks sheldon.It works perfectly well the way you have mentioned.When i did not get any replies I had thought that i may have to re phrase my question.But you got it perfectly right!
