I like the layout and thorough job you did with both design and implementation. The pictures and comments are also very helpful. I will use your page as a guide when I am trying to think out the layout of a future project.
Thanks for the post. Sandy. |

well, it did look a bit to well made and thought out for somone a year younger than me nothing negative intended! and again: very nice vork btw: i see there is no pot meter, wich implies the notion that this is a power amp. a power amp must have a preamp of course, and so i wonder how you went forward to match the impedans of the power amp with the impedans of the pre amp? my teatcher did tell me a lite about this thing, i dont rememberwhat he calles the circut , but i remember he told me just enough for me to have tons of questions about the subject..so if you could helt me out, i would realy be grateful! regards marius |

Thanks for your comments
I hope my page can be useful for those who want to build a parallel 3886 amp., I won't call it a GC because it uses more components, which voilate the GC concept. However those "extra" components are added for stability and for eliminating all the RF interference. Quote:

I am using a passive preamp now, so it is actually my DAC driving the amp.

but when using a fixed resistor of 47k ohms, it's not impedans(Z), it's resistance(R).. Is it the resistor paralelled with a condensator that makes the fixed resistance(R) into impedance (Z)? I strongly suspect that i should have paid better atension in class.. (Edvard Grieg - Peer Gynt suiten - morgen stemning) wonderful classical music, really astounding! |
