GainClone FAQs thread?

Hi All-

I did multiple searches for a custom drawing of an LM3886 in vein and think a FAQ's thread with subjects such as the following would be useful instead of re-explaining things every time a nubie comes in.

1) Pwr requirements, X-former types.
2) Schematics of the LM 3886, 3875, 4870 PCB's.
3) Chassis suggestions and sources.
4) Buffers and regulator schematics.

I will start those subjects on this thread, but I think eventually we should get enough good information to make a permanent top FAQ thread.

LM3875 and LM3886 pwr suggestions:

Parts Express X-former part #'s 122-615, 620, 625, 630, 640 & 645.

Apex.jr x-formers

Avel-Lindberg Inc Input: 2 X 120Vac 50-60 Hz
3 3/4" Dia X 1 1/2" Tall
Output: 2 X 28.4V @ 2.67Amps over 150Va

Avel-Lindberg Inc
Input: 2 X 120Vac 50-60Hz 3 1/4" Dia X 1 1/2" Tall
Output: 2 X 25V @ 2 Amps 100Va

Chia Yu Co Ltd
