Hi ,
I really need a high power ( 150 w or more RMS ) chip amp schematic to drive a big subwoofer .. can anyone help me ?? The transformer i will use is a 24 V x 2 at 10 Amp's . THANKS !!! |

If you can find them the STK power modules are easy to use and offer a braod range of outputs. ie STK4040xi, 100w/4ohms, upto STK4050v : 200w/8ohms. I don't think they incorporate a lot of protection in the module so are probably not the most robust of amps, but if you are encapsulating everything in a sub it should be perfect. My velodyne servo12's use stk4040v, 70w/8ohm, so I know these work pretty well in a sub.

I came accross these while out surfing the web and the compnay seams to have a few new interesting products - I wonder if they offer "samples"...
