Specification of an ordinary power amplifier:
- quasi AB class - non-complementary output stage - RL = 8 Ohm - P = 56W - THD + N = 0,1% from 20Hz to 20,000kHz at full power - SR = 11V/us - low capacitancies of bypassing capacitors at power supply This specification has got LM3875, the heart of highly acclaimed gainclone amp. Could somebody explain me, why so ordinary amp is so excellent? Please, without voodoo. |
