i have a SHARP amplituner that has STK459 as final amp stage with 2x15Watt power and it burned out.Can i replace it with a STK463 whick is rated 2x25Watt ?with no fear that the amp will sound good as before

The pinout looks the same and 99% of the schematic as well.
So, it's worth a try. Keep in mind however that STK463 needs higher supply rails. STK459: 2x NF-E, ±31V, 2x>15W(±21V/8ohm) STK463: 2x NF-E, ±38V, 2x>25W(±26V/8ohm) I can’t tell you anything about the sound. /Hugo

My voltage rail is about +-24V (not +-27) , can i use this STK463?
