Default Multichannel GC: choosing rectifying bridges

Currently I'm working on a 6-channel GC using the kits from BrianGT.

I have one 1000VA center tapped transformer. Close inspection of this beast revealed it actually has two secondoraries so modifying it in order to make it a dual secondary one should be possible.

Now I have to choose from the following options:

a) make the trafo a dual secondary one and build three dual bridges using the MUR860 diodes. ('normal' GC kit approach)
b) leave the trafo as is and build six single bridges using the MUR860 diodes. ('normal' center tap approach)
c) modify the trafo and use a dual bridge (in metal casing)
d) use one single bridge (in metal casing)
e) ...other suggestions?

What's the best thing to do? What will sound better? (is there any difference at all?) Six single rectifier bridges or three dual ones?
