I've just finished the board for my new 6-channel audio amplifier, with microcontroller. The amplifier is controlled via infra-red and some buttons and has a 4-line LCD.
I also used LM1973 - 3 channel digital controlled volume circuit. Here are the schematics and pcb's layers. http://www.microjean.go.ro/sch.gif - schematic http://www.microjean.go.ro/top.gif - top layer http://www.microjean.go.ro/bottom.gif - bottom layer http://www.microjean.go.ro/silk.gif - silk-screen |

Newbie to the board, but just wanted to say that this is indeed a very impressive project. Any updates?
Thanks! -PGPfan |

I've made a lot of changes. I'll post the updates soon...maybe monday.
It's stil in a project fase because I want to think a lot about it... rush is baaad! There's a new processor, temperature sensor, PWM controlled fan, LCD, keyboard, infrared and now I'm working on the opto-mecanical volume control (almost like the mecanical ball-mouse technology). |

I'll send the gerber files to a PCB manufacturer in Bucarest
But as I said before, no rush. It's a single board witch will be the pattern for the case construction (all connectors for inputs, buttons and speakers are planted on board) |
