I have a mic pre with 5533AN opamps in it. I like how it sounds but wonder if there's something that might sound better. I'ts a two channel pre, so I'm thinking of replacing the opamp of just one channel to have another option, but if there's a clear winner, I'll replace both. What would you swap it out with? Or do you like the 5533? Anyone know what the AN is for?
