Hi,
Does anyone have a single sided PCB design pictures for LM4780? I wanted to try out this amp but as a starting point i would like to experiment with a single sided PCB instead of two sided. Thanks in advance. |

With one sided PCB you can't to get with this circuit optimal configuration - forget on it.

thanks Upupa, so two sided is better is it? What about the pcb design given on national's website/datasheet. Is it good enough?
If thats better then I will build a two sided one. So far I havent tried my hands on two sided pcbs. Will have to give it a shot to see how it goes.. |

To rs1026 : PCB on datasheet is " electricaly " optimal, but not nice
- " optimal and nice " is my version . How you will see, design of both sided PCB is much more easy than one sided. To carlmart : This showed PCB is typical example of " nonoptimal " solution : too long thin traces with too high current density on rails and output. Problems with resoldering of LM. |

With 3886 is it easy, 'cos distance of pins is great, but question was about 4780
.
