Hey Guys, I just have a simple question.
I want to make a high power car amp but I want to avoid making a smps. I am thinking of using a TDA8567 or a similar BTL chip amp. From experience I know that these chips run out of power real quick. The question is, can I parallel two or more outputs to get more power? I would connect positive outputs via a resistor (about 0.1 ohm), and the same for the negatives. Would this work? I'm not a big fan of the TDA1562
Correct me if i'm wrong but it only produces 70w for a short period of time which is the extra power from the 4700uf capacitors. When the caps have discharged the power goes down to about 20 watts. |
