i have a couple of tda2005 chips...i was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how i can build an amp for my computer (running off the sound card)...i have 2*2W mids and a 15W sub...i would like to have a preamp with bass and treble control..any ideas would be very appreciated

Hi,
The TDA2005 has a datasheet with active crossover and bass/treble/loudness ideas in it. Have you seen it allready? Regards, Thijs |

TDA 2005 not good for mains operation. Good for battery operated amplifiers. It is class B. CMRR not good.
Otherwise make high quality power supply with very low ripple. If posible use TDA2009A good class AB chip. Wish u happy DIY. |

Here is the datasheet of 2005. It says you could use it as a car-amp so i guess it would work to use it as an amp for your PC
