well i needed somthing to do so i tryed making another one with a
33 volt transformer and some caps on the power supply. wow this amp is loud but no heat . no caboom yet 33v + 33v 2.8amp transformer kinda overkill lol and the meters are working

looks good no problems. and i dont get the dredid hum when there no input. dead silent
i made a few changes to the original smatic. i will post it when i take it apart. this sucker has power and a lot of base. and verry little heat

That must be a very good sounding transformer you have there ;D
That is the smallest heatsink I guess. No heat? You must use it to feed Sony bookshelf speaker ![]() The green caps, are they supply pins bypass? What brand? The bigger ones, they look like 1000uF/50V Black Gate. I always try to use the cap as close as possible to the pin (no long cable). OK, you have those green caps Sound silly, but the 1000/50seems to not like working with other caps. In my preamp, adding another 1000/25 Pureism led to horrible sound. Even the 47uF Black Gate N must leave the PCB and replaced with 5nF SilMic,another silly judgement. Blame my ears. |

heres how it is set up. kinda sad looking
i was just playing around with a chip and ran into it. feel free to pic it apart.what works for me may not work for you hay but it works so im not touching it ![]() after the transformer and rectitier and the 2 power caps the amp is runing on 41v ![]() the cap on the output turn it around its backwards |
