How much shielding do you need to incorporate into your gainclone. Will copper mesh be enough? I have heard that the gainclone (brian gt) is more open to distortion from its surroundings.

None whatsoever works fine in most cases.

Well, it depends what your case is made of. A metal case will do the job of shielding quite well
A wooden or plastic case will probably need some kind of shielding - I have my wooden case lined with aluminium foil but can still ocassionally pick up the taxi radio if one drives past. The important thing is to earth the shielding (or metal case) via a cap and resistor (in parallel). |
