Second source means that the original design is licensed out _but_ this doens't mean that the product will become 100% alike. Usually something differs. => You must read the datasheet from the manufacturer.
These letter after the type number means package, temperature range, parameters etc. You have to read the datasheet for the IC in mind. You have all info there.
