hi
id like to build a tube buffered gainclone, can anyone direct me to a easy to follow site that has a parts list. i've built a normal gainclone already in the past using lm3875s, i was wondering how the sound differs when you put a tube buffer? is it like day and night? and also, how does resistors affect the sound of the amp? tnx |

I have a VBIGC page on Decibel Dungeon that should help you although there is not a full parts list.
Sound of a VBIGC is different, not necessarily better or worse than other GC's! Resistors can make a small difference depending on where they are used. Play safe and mix different types to avoid one type 'dominating' the sound!
