Default How small is small enough?

Click the image to open in full size. Small isn't it?

After seeing ppl building GC from P2P -> big enclouse -> PCB-> and the small enclouse. Are there any limit for this to go on like the picture above from a candy tin box size circuit to not even half of the 9V battery size. How small will you guys think GC can go? Will someone beable design a PCB that have a shorter path than P2P ? This is just a curious post after I revisiting where I started to build stuff.

It could be a lot smaller with smd components.

You start getting into problems though with sizes of chips and connectors.

Of course someone could make the whole thing in silicon. Then well the chip wouldn’t need a thing in it’s own.

I'd like to think mine were pretty small.

P2P is nice, but I just don't trust myself to do such a neat trick. I think PCB is more reliable. I think I need to change the subject to how small can a GC PCB can go.
