what the (&*%&^%&*)^*10 samples?

i ordered 5 lm4881 chips from national for a headphone amp
thay sent me (5) lm4881 and (5) lm4950. is it not 5 a week for samples?


has anyone used or maid anything out of the lm4950 that i could use em for?

the 4881 is a nice sounding chip, i build a lot of amps for friends with it.

what is the specs of that chip?

they did the same with me for the first order i placed. they sent me 5 lm3886T one day and 5 more the next day.

just wondering, what is the shipping charge for samples?

its not free though. Whenever I try to place an order with my netzero address it tells me that due to the amount of orders placed from netzero.net, it needs to charge a shipping fee

oh, and i don't know what you can make of that other chip, its only 3.5W stereo or 7W BTL, so not much power is going to be produced by it.

You could use it to drive the satellites on a computer speaker system or something like that.

Apparently sending extra free stuff is not a good way to get the cheap skates to shut up. Interesting sociological experiment.
