hi guys, what do you think does this (RS # 423-093 )

is a good idea for binding post and/or ground post ?

It might be used for a ground post, properly isolated from chassis. But it's not a good idea for a binding post.

First, nickel plate should be avoided.

Second, it's better to have two holes for a wire connection or a banana plug on a binding post.
