NIGC input resistor

Assuming that I add a series step attenuator to the NIGC gainclone based on Peter Daniel's schematic, can I opt out the 220R resistor at the input and the 22k to GND.

What attenuator/volume pot value reccomended?

Has anybody try Elna Cerafine for the 1000uf PSU cap. I never came across somebody mentioning about it in this thread. Is it that bad for Gainclone?

Toni,

As long as the voltage is OK (ie 50v), the Elna should work fine. I think most people have a hard time finding the Cerifines and is why they are not discussed. I have a small quantity of the Elna Silmics and have no problems.
