I have a few of these chips and was looking over some of the archived messages.

I recall reading once that these were a good balance between the snap and resolution of the LM3875 and the softeness of the LM1875, with the strengths of both.

Then I read somewhere that they were really mushy sounding.

What's the verdict on these chips?
