This is figure 3 from National's LB-44. I have two questions:
the precision 20k resistors: why? and the 56R resistors: they are for current limiting yes? to determine their minimum value, I am thinking I need to figure in the amp's max output current, the portion of the load that each amp drives, and the voltage that's going to be developed across the load. Correct? /edit maybe I should attach the image what?

The 20k resistors set IC A3 at unity gain.
The value of the two resistors isn't that critical but the resistors must be matched.
