Default gainclone vs p3a

I figured i'd post a quick pic. This is my progress so far on an 8 channel amp, 6x gainclone and 2x p3a. Should be interesting to compare the two readily. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress

power supply etc. info to come in a week or so!

what meaning is p3a?

Its a big chassis...so i can't use shorter cables. Its ok though, i don't mind. The chassis will have 625va toroid on the p3a

www.sound.westhost.com project 3a

and 40kuf per rail

and then gainclones ...all 6 channels will be fed by a 625va toroid w/ 25kuf per rail or so..plus the 1.2kuF at each chip...should be plenty

sure
for stability the caps,i have an idea.you may make a few adjustments:
split supply to 2x +/-rail use 1.2kuF big caps.one pair of caps for every channel, and setup to star ground of the chassis.
The near chips caps use small pairs, such as 220uF/63v FC.

I think this'll be close enough to what you're saying. You'll see. I'll post more pics soon enough
