Not if it's class D. Class D full range is a challenge.

That's why i said almost any... class D amps, i think, are still in the minority.

I got this mail from Hypex today about their new ClassD amps:

Specs and price will be as follows:
UcD180 - 100W at 8 Ohm / 180W at 4 Ohm.
THD - 0,01& - 0,05%.
Outputimpedance - 0,005 - 0,010 Ohm.
Balanced input.
Shortcircuit protection.
Easy mounting.
Powersupply only +45Vdc and -45Vdc.
True High End High Fidelity Sound.
Price - € 60,00, ex. VAT.

UcD400 - 200W at 8 Ohm / 400W at 4 Ohm.
THD - 0,01& - 0,05%.
Outputimpedance - 0,005 - 0,010 Ohm.
Balanced input.
Shortcircuit protection.
Easy mounting.
Powersupply - +60Vdc and -60Vdc.
True High End High Fidelity Sound.
Price - € 90,00, ex. VAT.

Delivertime will be UcD180 - 4 weeks / UcD400 - 6 weeks.

I also contacted Hypex and said "I notice that you state these amps are for use with SubWoofers, is there any reason why they could not be used full range?" and their answer was "No these amps are not only special for subwoofers, they are real fullrange."

They might be fun to play with? I am not very technical but do the specs look good?
