LM4780 made easy

I have designed single sided pc boards for the Lm4780 if anyone is interested. they are 3"X5" in size. One is for the standard stereo circuit, another is for the bridged circuit, and one for the paralell circuit. This chip intriged me, so I thought I'd help others interested. Feel free to email me. I have not consructed these boards. I have consructed boards dozens of times, in every configuration using the LM3886. As you know, the pinout is the same Just not as many pins. If you would like to see them I'll post some pictures.

Isn't it the same board? So why posting it twice?

How do you plan to mount the chip to the heatsink with this layout?

And what is easy about it? Maybe posting a schematic would explain more?

LM4780 Chip Amp Paralelled

Here is the LM4780 parallel board with the power supply and mute circuit included. If anyone needs the files to make your own boards, or want boards made, let me know. For those of you who find soldering this chip intimidating, I can supply a board with the chip allready installed. There is a stereo board and a bridged board allready posted by me and the same goes for them. The specs and schematics for this chip and these boards can be found at the National Semiconductor site. National also offers their own board. It is, in my opinion, a little more than most DIY's want to deal with. Regards CE

Why those aditional bypass caps are mounted so far from the chip? Is it only because they look good (on board) this way?

boardman, you have started too many threads now about the same thing. Can you explain what your goal is here? How about making schematics, pcb layout and BOM available? I suggest also that you first build a prototype so you know that the pcb really works.
