Yesterday I Made my first gainclone 2x_LM3886 & 2X_LM3875
after being solid state crazy for a very long time
I must say I expected verry little from these
little chips
but I was blown away by their sound quality
and output was lot more than what I expected
I build mine from the Decibel Dungeon Site for both Chips
the problem on my is when I add the zobel network on my
Lm3875 I get a loud buzz on the output
without it it is dead quiet!
& When I try To add 100n decoupling caps to LM3886
I get a loud buzz on the output
without them it is dead quiet!
I cant understand why this happens
as far as I understand they sould both be
basically the same thing just one with more
power!
the lm3875 works fine with decoupling Caps
the lm3886 works fine with Zobel Network!
The big Question is Why?
