Very expensive binding posts vs Direct soldering

Since you live in Germany, why don't get in contact with Ruhstrat?

Massive copper, weight > 400 g! They have smaller also....

For permanent connectors I used the copper foil (from inductors). I cut 1" strip in half, but for better current capabilities, one can fold it for double thicknes. That post accepts spades, bare wire, or if you want, you can make your own "spades" from the same foil and solder it to speaker cable wires

Looks good.Two things I would consider:

1.Copper is going to oxide with time.
2.I think it would be good to glue the steel nut in that bakelite bar instead of making a thread in it.A couple of loosenings and tightenings and screw will destroy the thread.
