Is that Amp board aquired from South Korea looks like a site that I was lookink at from there but could not read description given site is mostly written in Korean I did do conversion exchange's on the variou s circuit boards that the site offered a the price's appear to be very good

if you want the surface mount pcb (much much much better designed, for the lm4881M chip, i can email it to you. the surface mount board is only about 1 1/4 inch by 1 inch, and even includes a bicolor LED for charge/power.

dont use the shutdown mode, it doesnt work well, just slice the trace between the output of the regulator and pin 8 of the chip and connect a switch there.

or you can design your own pcb

then, finally, put a 10uf can on the input and a 1000 uf on the output unless you want no bass.

Have you tried Headwize.com it has all this headphone amp projects. The link at the right seem to be the most popular design.

AudioXpress had a beautiful one in the May 2003 issue. It looks great and apparently sounds more than you could expect from any headphone amp. Construction guide is also excellent giving appropriate part numbers and sources.
