which is the best ic power amp

which is the best quality ic poweramp irrespective of the price any price ok tell me which is gives pure quality sound ? give me the ic number if possible and also give me the website

im interested in what you difine as best...
you looking for a 1 or 2ch amp?
1 IC or 2 ?

what power range?

as some Ics need only a few ext components - others will need alot of front end (cascode etc)

its horses for courses -

tho id suggest looking at the SVI3206

2x 130W with the infamous Technics new class A biasing, and integral Relay drive pin - (thump -dethump DC Det , Overload Det) all with minimum of ext components (basic feedback circuit + a few cappies) i have made a schematic on this IC

Your post might become pretty controversial as it is impossible to decide whish is the best, all depends upon your requirement, how much power out you want, how many channels in a chip you want, what sort of frequency response you are looking for, etc etc.
