Default Transformer for Group ChipAmp order

So - What are all of you using for transformers, and where might I get the best deal on a suitable one
(the sticker shock on toroidal ones is causing me much grief...)

I'm using AVEL LINDBERG 160VA 22-0-22 from partsexpress, around $37.00 each.

This isn't really for a group buy, but if anyone has plans for a MEGA amp. I've found just the tranny for you. I was gonna bid on it, but with what i've spent on the cardas group buy, plus a new solder station.. i think my wife will whack my balls off if i buy anything else.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EBWA%3AIT&rd=1

I've emailed them, and they have 2. so +/-24Vac 750VA each..
that’s 1500VA, about 31Amps per rail!!

Could be the power for "The Ultimate Home Theater Amp"

anyway, I’m not going to be bidding on it now, and it's done in an hour so..

There has been talk about doing a group buy from Plitron for the transformers, with the same specs that Peter Daniel uses. This would probably be the best plan, with reasonable pricing.
