Default interest in lm4780 PCBs?

ok, i recently made a fully functional lm4780 PCB*. i plan to mod it a bit for a high power subwoofer amp. i would like to know if there is any interest in such.

i may also make stereo boards if interest exists.

it will likely be about a month before boards are constructed.

as of now, the plan is for a monoblock subwoofer amplifer with volume adjust and crossover adjust. currently planned crossover is 2nd order with bypass option.

from my experience though, if you buy the board you will still need to be competent with a soldering iron -- the pins are really close on these chips.

i may make a few mods on the boards, so people can have options. like a board without crossover, or a board for 3 lm4780 for extra power, ect... depending on demand.

*this PCB is however unsuitable for widespread use as the caps are too close to the chip mounting holes and the input holes are too small. otherwise the board works. you can get the board mounted, but it took me about 30 minutes to do so. the board i plan to build will be larger and will not have these problems.

Hi Chris, I'm interested with your monoblock subwoofer pcb as i'm planning to build an amp for my subwoofer speaker. I think Lm4870 is good for that purpose, although i have tried stk4050v for my other project, i'd like to try the Lm's

are you interested in a dual lm4780 (bridged-parallel) single lm4780 board (bridged or parallel)? since i'll be making the boards locally, i plan to be able to tailor the PCBs to the user a little bit more.

i also plan to expand on the dual lm4780 pcb to a triple lm4780 PCB, if there is any demand at least.

and i may be making some boards for lm3886tf / lm3876tf / lm2876tf as i will be making an amp for a friend using these chips. IIRC the pin spacing for the tf packaging is a little off compared to the t packaging.

i actually got my chips as samples during the time when they were samples only. i'll look around and find where you can get some otherwise.

I would use them for sub's, two boards for the bridged version. And if you could help out with (where to get) the lm's ? That would be very nice,

Yes, would be interested in 2-3 boards. Please keep us posted.

Wishlist: single chip, generous holesize for larger caps with thicker leads, alternate pitch holes to allow smaller caps.
