TDA 1521 Power Amp Problem please help

to use with my AKG K44 Head phone im building a quick AMP with tda1521. but unfortunately i hear nothing from amp out puts.. but if i short input caps and supply input signal directly to input pins of tda1521 (pin 1 and 9) i hear an amplified sound from head phones bit distorted but audible. i have 2 schematics one provided by google and the other is the standard circuit from philips data sheet.
i tried using both 1uf (elect) caps and 0.22 ceramic caps to the input but no luck.
all the parts are brand new and used a jack connected to my phones head phone socket as input source.
