HELP wanted with TDA 7448 CHip

Well I am in the process of building my 5.1 Amplifier system, for volume control theres the option of controlling it with three different stereo volume control, but as I want to do it with style, I found this chips labelled as 7448, 6 channel volume control, however I am unable to find a way to control this chips as it is labelled as I2C bus chips can anyone help me out in this respect..

Can anyone please help in connecting DS1802 Chip with TDA 7448 I think that DS1802 chip could control 6 channels of audio on TDA 7448....
Look forward for help from all those professionals or experts who do visit this DIY site..

As I can understand from the DS's datasheet, it's a push button controlled tandem audio pot... And TDA7448 is another audio pot but it has six channel.. So you cannot control TDA7448 with DS1802. You can use one TDA7448 or three DS1802 for a 5.1.

And if you want to use TDA7448, you have to use with a microcontroller and you have to write a code to use microcontroller. Is that clear?

Thakxs "DX" Guess I mixed up things, however both options are alright however, it is human nature to take up newer challenges thats why I would still love to go for TDA7448, any help in this regards particularly to microcontroller would be highly appreciated.

You welcome abidr. In fact I did not understand what did you response (because of my poor English) to me! If you dont want to use microcontroller, you can think analog choices. Ex TDA1524, TDA1074 etc... TDA1074 is an ideal 4 channel dc controlled pot...

Actually what I wanted was to find a way how to use TDA7448 even if it means using a microcontroller or doing some programming..
Appreciate if u could help in this respect
