the Network that Neville Thiele came up with was a combination of capacitor from Hot output to Cold return AND an inductor in the feed from amp output to speaker terminals. If you read Dr Cherry's short article on the Thiele Network you will see many of the variations that can be made to work, especially if one adopts an intermediate value along the continuum for which N.Thiele only defines the end values.
