Default TDA7264 Mute Pin

I'm a little confused about this mute pin. I think that if I connect it to the +V rail the amp will be fully muted, right? To put it in play the mute pin voltage should be about -7V lower than +V. So if my rail is +20v, the mute pin should see about +13V is that correct?

I can't see the mute pin load resistance on the data sheet. Can anyone tell me how to calculate a simple series resistor to place between mute pin and +V rail for the right voltage drop?

Edit: Yes I used a 10V zener to feed the mute pin from the +20V positive rail. Works nicely.

I got the TDA7264 working It's excellent!

Here is the TDA7492 class-D amp IC I was going to use at first, until I found it has a very high 3rd harmonic regardless of output level. Test is at 0.5V into 6.8 Ohms.

Here is the TDA7264 class AB amp. Same test conditions. Interestingly the TDA7492 is rated at 50watts and the TDA7264 is rated at 25watts, but both actually output about 20watts cleanly. This is running on a proper dual rail supply. -30dB less distortion at 5KHz than the class-D chip , worth a bit of heat
