Default Doubt in LM4780

Hello,

I am using Fig.39 reference design for our Audio Amplifier application with a requirement of maximum 60W RMS Output from each channel.

To get 60W RMS Output signal how much maximum signal should I give at the input?

I have less knowledge on Heat Sink Selection? How to select the Heat Sink for LM4780?Instead of thermal compound paste,Can I use SIL-PAD as insulator between LM4780 and Heat Sink?

Suneetha.

for the reference design a channel would need a bit over 1 volt RMS input to deliver about 60W into 8 ohms with a +/- 35 volt PSU (70 volts rail-to-rail).

You'll probably get quite a bit out of reading the thermal design section of my Taming the LM3886 page.
