I may be spoiled by all the tripath options I see on ebay and may be asking too much, but I'm about to build my brother a wireless subwoofer and am looking for a simple mono chip amp and power supply that can do ~200W@4ohm.
I see this wireless audio transmitter Wireless Audio Transmitting Receiving Modules Wireless Transmitter AND Receiver | eBay and am thinking that sending a pre-filtered signal through that to an amp would be perfect. Hopefully the power supply would also have a 5V DC out, but I'm sure I can work something out if it doesn't.
I'm not an amp head, much more into speaker box design and would love to find a pre-assembled solution that offers plug & play capabilities without spending $150 on a plate amp with extra functionality that he won't need.
Is there anything in the $10-50 range that might work for my needs?
