Default BPA200 VU LED

Hi to all;
newbie here;

I just Finished my DIY BPA200, and I planning to add VU LED.

I have some question:
The output of BPA200 is two, the non-inverted goes to positive side of the Speaker while the Inverted output turn to Negative side of the Speaker.

The input of VU-LED is IN- GROUND(gnd)

Q1:Can I connect the VU-LED the same as the speaker?

thanks

You must connect the input of this VU to one output (either the plus or minus) and connect the ground of the VU circuit to the ground of the amp.

As the VU runs off a dual rail supply you must make sure that C2 is correctly polarised in use. You could even replace C2 with a film cap (something like a 1uf) and increase the values of R1, R2 and TR1 by a factor of 10.

Connect the VU meter to one side of the amp output only. It must be grounded.
