Lightbulb Acam aplha 2 popping issue?help required please

Hey guys, i think im in the right place as in forum to place this question?i am new to this forum stuff, in a nut shell i have got my self an old school set up. Arcam alpha 2 amp and Arcam 1 plus or just plus cd player. anyhow im getting a crackle/pop on the left output channel, so tired another cd player to test and yep still happens. now im no guru in this field by a long shot i any way shape or form so please be kind! But it opened up my amp as we do and made some notes and took pics before i wrote this. here is my question the rear heat sinks have output chips on i guess??. for some reason the right channel has a replaced diode or chip it has AAR2955a in it ans the rest on left and one of the right side chips are AAR3055a, is this an issue? also just to check.on PCB ic204"-15v" is8952/ LM340t15 7815 p+....the ic203+15V has 9036LM7915CT that is it....all i am guessing these are for the outputs on each channel.....i have pics and love this little amp its sound is impeccable compared to a Nakamichi i owned a few years ago....from a little reading these are good to so call tune and quite to make modifications too. i am open to any simple advice hints help or even guides that anyone can help with before i do something i may regret...i will upload pics to help explain myself ...Many thanks
