TDA2030A Any Good?

I inadvertantly won this on the auction site, I bid .99 and won I am going to build it while I evaluate my 3116.Any one else have any experience with the TDA2030A,I t is 18 wats class d in the tri path family I think?thinking of doing a boombox type enclosure for out side use,TDA2030A Amplifier Finished Board Assembled Board 3300uF 25V | eBay
Is there a diy kit ,15 volt rechargeable battery? or would a 4 cell laptop battery work.I would like to be able to run it at least 4 hours or more.

A TDA230A is a very well known class B audio Amplifier chip. See data sheet

I used them in the 80s. Eventually the blew up for no known reason, so I omitted them like I did with Tantal or L292 etc...

As long as you keep them cool, they are fine.

so they require thermal solution,moderate or high,I have not got it yet to evaluate.
