I purchased a LM3886 stereo amplifier kit from ebay and managed to build a decent sound system for my home use (Initially it was not that good but I managed to do some modifications mentioned in this forum and now it sounds good).
But there's a problem. It is lacking bass so I have decided to add a subwoofer to do that job.
LM3886 kit powers 2 Pioneer baffles with 6ohm impedance and 160W rated output power (RMS) each. The kit is powered by 28-0-28 5A AC transformer.
I don't know much about amp designs and advanced electronics so I prefer a plug and play kit from ebay for the subwoofer.
Can you please suggest me a good amplifier kit to power the subwoofer? I'm planning to use a 10" or 12" driver for the subwoofer.
Also please suggest me the required specifications of the subwoofer driver.
