I agree with you !
Coax is the worst case, for internal or interconnect cables..
Except if lenght is more of 1 meter (just about), or in a studio recording of course.
But never use shield for signal path.
Good twisted pair (or three, four wires) are better in all case. Just choose awg regarding skin effects.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Today I listen Chipamp psu (10000 uF with snubber), it's better for all..
Deeper bass and natural, smoother, high is not harsch.
Previous psu with 30000 uF per rail is worse..
And I can say : a god amp is a good psu at first !
