It was not a start to a discussion. It was a comment on your behaviour in this thread.

Well, I am not disappointed or detered by your "no-comment". Rest assured that I WILL continue to comment on any rubbish, whether it comes from Mr. Audio Gizmo or anybody else.
You may do as you please, as will I.

However, you stated your position repeatedly and clearly and are not willing to accept at least for discussions sake a change from the frame of reference you consider (erroneously) to be correct. And you attempt to force YOUR frame of reference onto others who do not (no longer) recognise it.

A discussion can only take place in a shared frame of reference. I do not wish to re-adopt the one you so desperatly cling to (yes, I aware of it and once held it in a less extreme version myself), as for me it has been superceeded, based on substantial practical research done myself (the same holds true for many others in this place and in Audio in general). Any discussion between us would resemble discussing the quality of colour in Renoir paintings with a man born blind, an excercise in futility if ever there was one.

My time is to me personally more valuable than to waste it on such....

I must say that on this thread and on "biasing op-amps in class-A" millwood didn't get one single word of what I've said.
Only misunderstandings.
Man, you should read the posts more carefully.
And think.

Carlos, to be clear, I was making a joke, hoping that it would drop some of the tension here. I do not believe that millwood is crazy, nor a clown, nor that he doesn't understand.

Honestly, people, we're not trying to cure cancer here. Try not to take this stuff too seriously.

And you still keep on wasting your time.

What do people call those who know they are doing the wrong things but keep on doing anyway? How about in those 3 or 4 languages you know of?

how about this exchange:

Quote:
You can't use an op-amp with single voltage as you use with +/- rails.
then to the question "so you can or cannot use opamp with a single supply?

Quote:
Yes. I never said you can't.
I stopped responding after that but you may find that discussion more educational.

With that quote, which BTW explains a lot, I'm temporarily closing this thread. If I receive at least 2 e-mails, I'll open it again.

This action is in direct response to the complaint from another member on not enough moderation.
