Default Actually going to build my Gainclones

I can pick up some cheap transformers, would 24V, 5 amp transformer be sufficent for 2 LM3875 channels? Should I get 2 for dual mono?

24V/5A per rail would be fine (if you don't need too much power). So, you need two transformers (for +V and -V).

Can't you use half wave rectification to get split supplies from
a single tap, i.e. if you don't need too much power only one
transformer is needed ?
