Default Q about LM3875 circuit...

Hi There !
I have a circuit of a GC using the LM3875 - on the drawing a 1uF is used across the supply legs 1 and 4 - on other drawings this component is not used - what does it do, and is the size of it important ??

Thanx !

/Hans

it's a decoupling cap...it's not really needed, but the 2 1000uF's (or above) between the +Ve to GND and -Ve to GND is important...
