Did not have time to finish amp , so at least I ll wire it without switch for now.

Before I connect I d like to double check if I understand wiring of inlet

Ok, just checked Bob's picture- the load is pink text node. Why is L marked on the right ?

That pink is the L, it is connected there through the fuse.
If there was no fuse, there would only be the black part. Pink is the black+fuse.

Check with your multimeter set to aubible.

A short from pin to pin will sound "beep"

An open from pin to pin will not sound.

Many IEC sockets and plugs have the L N E marked into the plastic.
