hi
first of all sorry for my bad english. i want build a stereo amplifier with an chip that work with 12v supply and give 15-20 watt per channel. my choice is TDA7297 but it give about 9 watt per channel with 12v please guide me for choose a goodchip(12v supply) whit good sound. thank you |

It is very difficult to achieve more than 15Watts from a 12Volt supply, even with the bridge mode amplifier TDA7297 as there are current drive limitations to consider.

TDA1519C sounds pretty clear in mono but still, most low voltage amplifiers sound terrible.
TDA7850 is one of the mighty amps 4 channels and like 10w clean power. |

Like AndrewT said, car chip amps...
TA8225 (and even TA8210, which is the mostly used car chip amp for home mini hifi) has always amazed many listeners. It is rated for 45W but of course you don't need that highly distorted signal. At 4W/4R/1K it gives 0.015%, a very good number. |
